Objective: To explore the clinical application effect of nursing under the guidance of MPNFS theory on patients with lung cancer chemotherapy. Methods: Clinical data of 110 patients with lung cancer receiving chemotherapy in the Department of Oncology of Huai 'an First People's Hospital from April 2022 to March 2024 were selected by retrospective analysis. Routine nursing measures were included in the routine group, and nursing measures under the guidance of MPNFS theory were included in the MPNFS group, 55 cases in each group. Hope level, cancer fatigue, complications, nutritional index and lung function were compared between the two groups. Results: Before the intervention, hope level, cancer fatigue, nutritional index, lung function were compared with between the two groups, (P>0.05). Four weeks after the intervention, patients in the MPNFS group were higher than those in the conventional group in taking positive actions, keeping close with others, and taking a positive attitude towards reality and the future(P<0.05); In the MPNFS group, the total fatigue score for cancer fatigue was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05); In the MPNFS group, the occurrence of complications such as malnutrition, interstitial pneumonia, bone marrow suppression, nausea and vomiting was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05); The nutritional index of the MPNFS group was higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05); Pulmonary function was higher in the MPNFS group than in the conventional group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Nursing under the guidance of MPNFS theory can improve the hope level of lung cancer chemotherapy patients, alleviate cancer fatigue, reduce complications, improve nutritional status, and enhance lung function. |
