牙髓干细胞应用的研究进展

摘要:

牙髓干细胞是具有多潜能分化和自我更新能力的间充质干细胞。它们不仅对牙科疾病治疗有用,而且对全身性疾病治疗也有用。大量研究表明牙髓干细胞对多种疾病有效,如脊髓损伤、帕金森症、阿尔茨海默病、脑缺血、心肌梗死、肌营养不良、糖尿病、肝病、眼病、免疫疾病和口腔疾病等。也有报道称牙髓干细胞比骨髓间充质干细胞具有更高的再生潜能,被称为代表性间充质干细胞。因此,牙髓干细胞近年来备受关注。作者就近年来牙髓干细胞在全身性疾病治疗中应用的研究进展作一综述。
