Objective: To explore the effects of CO2 laser treatment on skin squamous cell carcinoma. Methods: 90 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the dermatology admitted to our department of dermatology from August 2016 to July 2017 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 45 patients in each group. Control group receivedconventional treatment, including surgery, drug control, while observation group received CO2 laser treatment on the basis of conventional treatment. Two groups were compared with total remission rate,lesions disappeared time and the time of 50% lesion reduction, along with skin necrosis rate and recurrence rate. Results: The total remission rate of skin squamous cell carcinoma in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, andthe disappearance time and 50% reduction time of skin lesions were significantly less than those in the control group, moreover the skin necrosis rate and recurrence rate were better than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: CO2 laser treatment can significantly inhibit the recurrence of skin squamous cell carcinoma, reduce the necrosis rate of skin lesions, and improve the overall effectiveness, suggesting that CO2 laser treatment can be used as a treatment for skin squamous cell carcinoma and improve the overall effect of clinical treatment. |
