Objective:To obtain the reference values and establish the predictive equations of respiratory impedance for healthy adults in the Jianghan Plain of China. Methods:A survey of pulmonary function by impulse oscillometry system(IOS) was conducted on 674 healthy adults with normal pulmonary ventilation.The reference values were obtained and the predictive equations of IOS parameters were established. Results:The predictive equations for males:. Zrs=4.64+1.019CW-0.016H,Fres=25.73-0.122H+0.059W,R5=4.10+1.034CW-0.013H,R20=4.258-0.01H,X5=-2.736+0.011H,Rc=4.75-0.019H,Rp=7.424-0.041H+0.018W.The predictive equations for females:Zrs=8.66+1.84CW-0.04H,Fres=5.54+6.69CW,R5=6.96+2.17CW-0.03H,R20=10.38-0.05H+0.012W,X5=-3.90+0.018H,Rc=23.87-0.14H+0.001W-4.60CW,Rp=9.80-0.045H. Conclusion:The predictive equations that suit Jianghan Plain healthy adults have been produced for the IOS. |
