Objective:To explore the effect of 5A intervene on pain in patients undergoing knee arthroplasty. Methods:86 patients undergoing knee arthroplasty in the hospital from July 2014 to July 2017 were enrolled in this study. The patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method. The patients in the control group received routine nursing treatment. The patients in the observation group were treated with 5A on top of the routine nursing treatment. The self-efficacy scale was evaluated and compared before and after the intervention, also the pain and satisfaction were evaluated and compared. Results:The patient's self-efficacy was assessed and compared before and after the intervention, also the patient's pain and satisfaction were measured and compared. The self-efficacy scale scores of the control group and the observation group were (2.53±0.61)and (2.55±0.64)respectively. After the intervention, the scores of the self-efficacy scale were (2.81±0.70)and(3.36±0.67)respectively. After the intervention, 14 cases had mild pain (32.6%), 12 cases had moderate pain (27.9%), 17 cases had severe pain (39.5%), pain score was (6.95±1.36). While in the control group:19 cases had mild pain (44.2%), 18 cases had moderate pain (41.9%), 6 cases had severe pain (13.9%) and pain scale score was 4.28 (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the patients in the control group was 74.4%, it was 90.7% in the observation group, being statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:Knee arthroplasty patients with 5A intervention can effectively relieve pain, improve patient self-efficacy and patient satisfaction. |
