Objective: To explore the status quo of the medical and pharmaceutical college students' moral character, providing reference for the cultivation and educational practice of students' moral character. Methods: Using stratified random sampling, field visits, questionnaires and literature analysis, this paper investigated the moral character of students in some medical and pharmaceutical colleges in Jiangsu Province, and analyzed its causes by using relevant theories. Results: Among 1657 valid questionnaires, in social ethics, more than 77.6% of the students had a higher civilization accomplishment and helpful spirit, more than 70.9% of the students were aware of the importance of protecting public property and protecting the environment, butmore than 64.1% of the students had a weak awareness of the law and discipline; in terms of respecting parents, while 58.1% of students frequently contacted their parents, 59.9% of the students said they contacted their parents not for the main purpose of communication and discussion; in terms of honest and trustworthy, more than 54.1% of the students had a loss of integrity behavior. After analysis, the above situation was mainly caused by the multi-dimensional factors such as society, schools, families and students themselves. Conclusion: The status quo of the medical and pharmaceutical college students' moral character is generally positive, however, many problems can't be ignored and must be givenrelevant attention. |
