Objective: To evaluate the curative efficacy of postoperative complications by application of Chinese Herbal by partial external bath after anal fistulectomy.Methods: Total 120 in-patients with postoperative fistula were assigned in series randomly to 4 groups,including treatment group and control group of high and low fistula, each group included 30 cases. All the patients adopted anal fistulectomy and changed fresh dressing for a wound everyday. The therapy was used after the operation. The treatment group was treated by using the fumigation and washing therapy ofChinese Herbal. The control group was treated by using 1:5 000 postassium hypermanganate solution. During 28 days treatment,the symptoms after operations were recorded and evaluated respectively at the 2th,7th,28th day after operation,such as pain, leakage, fever, etc. These data were compared by scoring system after administration in each group.Results: The curative effects of Chinese Herbal by partial external bath were better than 1:5 000 postassium hypermanganate solution in relieving the pain,leakage,fever after anal fistulectomy(P<0.05).Conclusion: Chinese Herbal for partial external bath can release the postoperative complications after fistulectomy efficiently during the perioperative period.
