Objective:To investigate the value of contrast agent injection device in 3-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography(3D HyCoSy) with SonoVue. Methods:216 consecutive women as part of infertility evaluation were included and divided into two groups, manual injection group and machine injection group. Manual group used manual injection of contrast agent; machine group introduced contrast agent injection device to complete contrast sonography. The test result of the two groups were compared, include the success rate of 3D HyCoSy, adverse reactions in patients, the countercurrent of contrast medium and other complications. Results: There was no significant difference between the success rate of the two groups. Pain was the most common complication for the patients of the two groups and some accompanied by nausea, vomiting and fatigue. With 30 minutes bed rest, pain was relieved. Rate of the countercurrent of contrast medium constant of the machine injection group were significantly lower compared with that of manual injection group and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion: The 3D HyCoSy with contrast agent injection device can dynamically observe the whole process of contrast, with low incidence of contrast agent countercurrent, easy to operate, prevent from tubal rupture, improvement of image quality and diagnostic accuracy, which can widely applied in clinical work. |
