Abstract: Objective To evaluate the incidence, clinical features, influential factors and prognostic significance of atrial fibrillationr(Af) complicating acute myocardial infarction(AMI). Methods 476caese of AMI were hospitalized .Firstly, the patients were divided into Af group(46caese),Logistic regression analysis was used to identify the risk factor for Af. Then the patients were divided on the basis of in-hospital mortality into mortality group and non-mortality group. Regression analysis was used to assess the influence of Af on in-hospital mortality. Results New onset of Af was documented in 46 AMI patients(9.7%).There were significant differences between Af and non-Af patients in age, hypertension,MI extent, heart rate,LVEF,serum creatinine and hemoglobin level on admission . Af patients had higher in hospital mortality.Af was the independent risk factors for in-hospital mortality. Conclusion Af is a common complication of AMI and independently influences in-hospital mortality. Key words : acute myocardial infarction; atrial fibrillation; prognosis |
