Objective: In order to investigate the clinical distribution and antibiotic susceptibility of clinical isolated Acinetobacter baumannii in hospital, all isolates were examined for the homology. We also analysis of antibiotic resistance and the possible transmission routes of hospital infection for control it spread in the hospital. Methods:55 isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii were collected from The Third Hospital of HeBei Medical University from February 2012 to December 2012. Analysis of the homology of all isolates by Pulsed field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) method. The susceptibility to different antibiotics was assessed with Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method. Results: 55 isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii are typing by PFGE. Genotypic analysis of these isolates revealed 4 distinct patterns, A (n=33), B (n=14), C (n=4), D (n=4). Pattern A and B were the dominating clone, distributed in different wards. The isolates from ICU ward are mainly A type and B type. The isolates from department of orthopedics ward are mainly B type. The isolates from Department of respiration are mainly A type and C type. Conclusion: The isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii in hospital have multiple genotypes. There may exist Multidrug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii spread in hospital. |
