[Abstract] Objective: To investigate the role and effect on high quality nursing care system building of open improved mastoidotympanectomy patients by PDCA cycle management.Methods:34open improved mastoidotympanectomy patients treated in our hospital fromJune 2012 to November 2013 (the observation group) and 31open improved mastoidotympanectomy patients treated in our hospital from January 2011 to May 2012 (the control group)wereselected as the research objectsThen the patient care satisfaction,the complications rate and the completion of the nursing workbefore and after high quality nursing were compared.ResultsThe patient's nursing satisfaction significantly improved, the incidence of complications reducedfrom 29.03% to 14.71%, and improvement of the nursing work also,there were statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion The PDCA cycle management can significantly reduce the complications of open improved mastoidotympanectomypatientsand improve the patient's nursing satisfaction and improvement of the nursing work,itisworth the management concept further popularization.
