Purpose: To explore the needle biopsy of suspected malignant lesions in patients with breast cancer. Methods: 35 patients with breast cancer were carried out CT-guided needle biopsy when the suspected malignant lesions were found in other organs according to the imaging diagnosis. The pathology results and clinical value were analyzed in all cases. Results: The successful rate of puncture was 100%.30 of the 35 patients were diagnosed to be malign by needle biopsy(85.7%). The positive predictive value was 100.0%(30∕30).23 patients were diagnosed to be adenocarcinoma by immunohistochemical markers, including 5 primary lung cancers, 14 metastatic breast cancers and 4 unable to be determined. ER、PR and HER-2 statuses were negative in 3 of the 14 metastatic breast cancer cases. Conclusions: The needle biopsy of suspected malignant lesions in patients with breast cancer is an effective method for pathology diagnosis, and it can distinguish between the benign and malignant lesions, and it can meet the requirements of immunohistochemical diagnosis. It is a safe and reliable method, and it is worth promoting. |
