Objective: To discuss the application results of clinical nursing path on improving the nursing satisfaction of the elderly patients with cataract surgery. Methods: 128 patients with Cataract were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table. The patients in the control group were given the routine care while The patients in the observation group were given the clinical nursing path. Results: There were 50 patients who were grasping the health education and it was higher than that of the control (2=5.24, P<0.05). The average length of stay of the observation group was (3.82±0.97) d and it was obviously shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05). The average cost of hospitalization of the observation group was (4416.18±189.46) yuan and it was obviously less than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical nursing path on improving the nursing satisfaction of the elderly patients with cataract surgery had a significant application result and deserved promotion.
