Objective: To observe the effects of 131I therapy on body for thyroid carcinoma patients. Methods: sixty-nine patients with DTC were inclued. They underwent 131I radiotherapy many times(everyone’s total dose was 18.5-74.0GBq). The result of blood cell, liver, renal and salivary gland scintigraphy examinations were compared before and 4 months after 131I therapy. Results: ①The number of leukocyte and thrombocyte reduced significantly (P<0.05) 4months after 131I therapy but the average were in the normal ranges. The number of erythrocyte were higher(P>0.05). The number of lymphocyte decreased lightly (P>0.05). ②The level of ALT、AST、BUN、SCREA、ALP about liver and renal were no significant difference between before and 4 months after 131I radiotherapy (P>0.05). ③ Both parotid uptake and excretion functions are impaired(P<0.05) and the function of submandibular gland are not effected after several times of therapy(P>0.05). Conclusion: The adverse effects of 131I radiotherapy on thyroid carcinoma patients were exist but the major of adverse effects were slight. There were no serious effects after 131I therapy. |
