【Abstract】　Objective　To approach the nursing care method and experience after transurethral resection of prostate（TURP). Methods A total of 128 peitaients with benign prostate hyperplasia（BPH) underwent transurethral resection of prostate. The nursing procedure were recorded and evaluated. Results　All peitaients were operated successfully.The time of operations were ranged from 45min to 136min，average 72min.The hemorrhage of operations were ranged from 100 milliliter to 350 milliliter，average 180 milliliter. There were two peitaients who emerged the hemorrhage，One happened after two hour when the peitaient returned the ward，another showed up after extracting urinary drainage tube.The peitaients were reoperated and verificated the hemorrhage of raw surface of the prostate. Three peitaients appeared temporary urinary incontinence and was cured by training levator ani muscle. Transurethral resection syndrome（TURS）occurred in one case，and was cured by controlling speed and amount of intravenous transfusion，transfusing high density sodium ion，diureses by Furosemide. All cases were recovered fully by possible nursing care，and no serious outcomes. Symptoms were no recurrence by being followed up for one year.Conclusion　Our results indicate excellent postoperative care are important after transurethral resection of prostate，and it prophylaxis and lower complication.
