Objective: To investigate the expression of IGF-1 in cervical squamous-celled carcinoma and clinicopathological significance and prognosis. Methods: The expression of IGF-1 was detected by immunohistochemisty(Enlivion TM) in chronic cervicitis with 25 cases 、cervical intraepithelial neoplasia with 35 cases and cervical squamous-celled carcinoma with75 cases. Results: The expression rate of IGF-1protein in chronic cervicitis 、cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical squamous-celled carcinoma was respectively 3.33%、37.14%、57.33%,there was statistically significant among them(χ2=26.13,P<0.01). In cervical squamous-celled carcinoma related clinicopathological factors, the expression of IGF-1was related to tumor size、lymph node metastasis、distant place organ metastasis and FIGO Staging(P<0.05),but not to age 、histological type、Ki-67 and P53(P>0.05); Survival analysis showed that the survival rate of positive IGF-1 was obviously less than negative IGF-1(χ2=4.42,P<0.05). Conclusions: In cervix morbid change, the expression of IGF-1 were escalated along with morbid change upgrade, which indicated that IGF-1 took part in the development of cervix morbid change, meanwhile, the patients prognosis was poor. |
