Objective To explore the surgical treatment of AO type C fractures of the distal radius and evaluate the therapeutic effect. . Methods 22 patients with type C distal radial fractures treated by surgical treatment were reviewed. Results The follow-up period of the 22 cases ranged from 6 months to 14 months. By Gartland & Werley scoring, 16 patients achieved excellent results,3 achieved good results and 3 achieved fair. The excellent and good result rate was 86.4%. Conclusion Perfect anatomic reduction of intermediate column may increase the stability of the distal radioulnar joint, decrease the complications and increase clinical curative effects. |
