Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of treating senile functional constipation with cisapride tablets and composite aloe capsule. Methods 81 patients with senile functional constipation were assigned to treatment group and control group. 43 of them were in the treatment group and 38 were in the control group. All the two groups were treated with cisapride tablets for 15 days, but the treatment group were simultaneously treated with composite aloe capsule. The changes of defecation frequency, stool form, defecation interval, defecation time were observed. Results In the treatment group the efficient was higher, which was significant beyond these in control group(p<0.01). And after treatment the defecation interval and defecation time of patients in the treatment group were better than untreatment(p<0.05). but in the control group were unsignificant(p>0.05). Conclusion It is a good treatment for patients with senile functional constipation with cisapride tablets and composite aloe capsule. And it has significantly cooperative function and specified clinical significance. |
