Objective:To study whether the hypertriglyceridemia is a risk factor of acute recurrence pancreatitis in short term. Methods: 96 acute pancreatitis patients recruited from our department were divided into the recurrence group and the control group .The concentration of cholesterol and triglyceride were tested in two groups ,respectively. Results: Cholesterol concentrations were in the normal range and had no significant difference in two groups .However, the frequency of the high triglyceride and the concentration of triglyceride in the recurrence group were significant higher than that of the control group. The higher the concentration of triglycerides was, the higher the incidence of the recurrence. Conclusion: Cholesterol have little clinical significance to acute recurrence pancreatitis. However, hypertriglyceridemia may be a risk factor of short term acute recurrence pancreatitis. |
