Objective :To evaluate the clinical effects of continuous subcutaneous insulin injection (CSII) by using insulin pump for diabetic patients in perioperative period. Methods :Eighty diabetic Patients in perioperative period were divided into treatment group and control group(40 cases in each group).Treatment group with the use of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion therapy by using insulin pump (CSII group),the control group Patients with conventional multiple subcutaneous insulin injection (MSII group). The changes of some clinical indexes were compared between the 2 group s before and after the treatment . Results : The blood glucose level of the Patients in both groups decreased evidently after the therapy. The duration to achieve the target for blood glucose, the glucose standard rate, the incidence of hypoglycemia, the Infection rate, the time of preoperative preparation, the length of hospitalization in the CSII group were obviously lower than those in the MSII group, total expense of hospitalization in CSII group was almost as much as that in MSII. Conclusion: CSII is superior to MSII at clinical effects and safety for diabetic patients in perioperative period. |
