We summarized the nursing of 1 patient with acute myocardial infarction and renal failure, closely monitored changes in vital signs, found arrhythmia, limb ischemia, skin mucous membrane bleeding and other complications, and they were timely treated. Because the patient were with many catheters, especially in the intra-aortic balloon pump catheter and the large bore central venous catheter, we enhanced the nursing of the catheters. And doing mental nursing well to the patient was the key. In nursing, the nurses were familiar with the working principle and mechanical operations of CRRT and IABP, strengthened the observation, prevent all kinds of complications, and ensure the effective and safe implementation of IABP and CRRT.
