Objective: To study the effect of application of clinical nursing pathway for the implementation of health education in patients with senile dementia Method: 52 patients were randomly divided into study and control groups. Clinical Nursing pathway was used for the implementation of health education in the study group; traditional methods were applied for health education in the control group. Result: The comparison between two groups regarding the rate of the patients’ disease-related knowledge and relevant skills before discharging from the hospital, patients’ satisfaction, patients’ compliance, the incidence of falling such as from the bed was done, and the results show statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of clinical nursing pathway for the implementation of health education in patients with senile dementia can effectively improve the quality of nursing care. |
