Objective:To investigate the effects of rosuvastatin calcium tablets combined with aspirin in the treatment of carotid plaque. Methods:One hundred and seventy-eight carotid plaque patients with cerebral vascular disease were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 89 patients in each group. The control group was given aspirin adjuvant treatment, while the observation group received rosuvastatin calcium tablets combined with aspirin treatment. Results:All patients completed the treatment successfully. After treatment, the total effective rates of the observation group and the control group were 94.4% and 77.5%, respectively, and the therapeutic effect in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05). The levels of triglyceride, total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterolin the observation group and the control group were all lower than those before treatment, and the levels of high density lipoprotein cholesterolwere higher than those before treatment. There was a statistically significant difference in the lipid indexes between the two groups(P<0.05). After treatment, the plaque area in the observation group was smaller than that before treatment, and it was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05). The difference of arrival time(DAT) in the observation group and the control group after treatment was more significant than that before treatment, and the enhanced intensity(EI) was decreased(P<0.05) with statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion:Rosuvastatin calcium tablets combined with aspirin in the treatment of carotid plaque patients can improve the index of contrast-enhanced ultrasound and reduce plaque area, which is conducive to the regulation of serum lipid levels and treatment effect.
